North Georgia Autism Foundation is partnering with Cisco, Genesis Elevator, and multiple other companies to establish a postsecondary school called the Georgia Bridge Academy.
The program will be free to adult students with a documented disability, not just autism spectrum disorder. Although, many people with ASD have a great aptitude and interest in the IT field. The Georgia Bridge Academy is open to adults with a disability that meet screening requirements. The program will have three sites, Blue Ridge, Dalton, and Tommy Nobis Center, Marietta. North Georgia Autism Foundation is searching for qualified students.
